PT Garuda Daya Pratama Sejahtera successfully won two prestigious awards at the 12th 2023 BUMN Awards, with the theme “Accelerating Digital Transformation, Innovation and BUMN Business Recovery.”
At the event participated in by all BUMNs, BUMN subsidiaries and listed companies, PT Garuda Daya Pratama Sejahtera successfully won the award “Best Third in the Organizational Transformation Category.” Additionally, President Director M. Arif Faisal also received an award titled “CEO Excellence Innovation on Healthy Air Management” for being recognized as a leader who successfully developed innovation and optimized GDPS performance during the pandemic by creating an air circulation system innovation for enclosed spaces (indoor air engineering).
According to the Chairman of the 12th 2023 BUMN Awards Judging Panel and Indonesia’s first BUMN Minister Dr Tanri Abeng, “CEO Category winners are not only evaluated based on company performance improvement but also linked to competent leadership in managing business strategy in the transition-endemic era. The categories set are Visionary CEO, Strategic Orientation, Driving Execution, and Talent Development.”
Beyond recognizing the best CEO, the BUMN Awards also show appreciation to BUMN companies, BUMN subsidiaries and listed companies for their business achievements and their impact on society. There are seven company categories that are evaluated, namely Recovery Strategy, Business Innovation, Digital Transformation, Organizational Transformation, Corporate Governance (GCG), UMKM Development Program, and Talent Development & Superior Human Resources.
CEO BUMN Track SH Sutarto explained that 104 BUMN companies participated in the 2023 BUMN Awards. This number narrowed down to 73 companies that passed the second selection phase consisting of corporate presentations. Meanwhile, 45 BUMN and BUMN subsidiary President Directors competed to become the best CEO through interviews in the third phase of judging. This is proof that the acceleration of transformation and innovation at PT Garuda Daya Pratama Sejahtera consistently receives validation from external parties since joining this prestigious event in 2021.
Moreover, currently the Ministry of BUMN is firmly encouraging each BUMN to implement digital transformation to build its digital capabilities through the “Making BUMN 4.0” program. This is nothing other than a derivative of the central government’s program called “Making Indonesia 4.0.” This makes PT GDPS superior by improving key indicators, namely adapting to the impact of increasingly massive economic digitalization changes, as well as the company’s ability to address the acceleration of changes occurring to maintain its business and even continue to grow and develop.
