Realizing Proactive Environmental Care, GDPS Presents CSR Providing Clean Water for the Nation

Tangerang (February 15, 2024) – On Thursday, February 15, 2024, PT Garuda Daya Pratama Sejahtera (GDPS) implemented a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program at Pesantren Roudlotul Jannah, Tangerang Regency. This represents a concrete manifestation of GDPS’s commitment to social and environmental responsibility as a leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services company.

Clean water is a vital source of life for human welfare and environmental sustainability. Clean water is a prerequisite for maintaining human health, particularly in educational environments. Access to safe and clean drinking water helps prevent disease transmission and infection, maintains bodily balance, and creates a comfortable learning environment. However, today the clean water crisis is one of the major challenges facing many regions, including Tangerang Regency, which increases the risk of waterborne diseases.

Facing this urgent challenge, GDPS launched a new CSR program titled “GDPS Cares, Providing Clean Water for the Nation.” GDPS took proactive steps to support efforts in providing safe and suitable clean drinking water. Collaborating with experienced nonprofit organizations (Penderma.id), GDPS provided a free water dispenser with a capacity of 1,900 liters per day. GDPS hopes to help address clean water issues that remain a challenge at the pesantren, thereby creating a healthier environment and supporting optimal learning conditions.

The importance of optimal learning conditions is clearly evident, as education quality depends heavily on the learning environment. Creating superior human resources requires adequate learning environments, where clean water is one of the key factors. As a leading BPO company, GDPS recognizes how vital connecting human resources to long-term productivity and efficiency is. Through an optimal learning environment, GDPS contributes to helping create more productive and superior generations in the future.

“Through this proactive step, we hope to deliver tangible positive impact for the environment, particularly for the students at Pesantren Roudlotul Jannah to improve health quality by providing easy access to clean drinking water. We hope the learning process becomes more conducive without disruption from water availability issues, so we can support the development of productive and excellent young generations in the future,” stated Cornelis Radjawane, President Director of PT Garuda Daya Pratama Sejahtera (GDPS).

Realizing proactive environmental care steps, GDPS will continue to commit to contributing toward building a better future for Indonesia through CSR programs to be implemented in the coming years.
